Hiring for Axis Migration Lead YOE: 7+ years Papers: Minimum 10 as per old Location: Bangalore, India The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience: • Skilled actuarial software developer and/or user with at least 7+ years of experience in the insurance/actuarial industry. Development experience using RAFM, AXIS, VBA, SQL or Python is ideal but not necessary. Training will be provided as needed. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail – able to quickly absorb details on business structure, product features and model requirements. • Ability to robustly develop and communicate actuarial best practice (setting up models, documentation, governance, analysis, testing etc) including reviewing and challenging work of team members to ensure best practice is being followed • Experience mentoring and coaching team members of varying experience and driving team engagement • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with an ability to work with other MCoE/project team members in multiple locations • Ability to identify complex problems, find innovate solutions and translate this into software solutions within the modelling platform that are robust but also efficient and transparent • Ability to work independently, reliably, efficiently, transparently, accurately and deliver to deadlines • Shows initiative in identifying issues and supporting other team members, peers and senior stakeholders • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks accordingly Recommend or reach out to us at aayushi@green-tree.in
